Britney Spears is now in the mobile app market thanks to Glu Mobile (NASDAQ:GLUU). The company known for developing and publishing free-to-play games for mobile devices announced on Thursday the release of Britney Spears: American Dream. According to Glu Mobile’s website on the game, “players to morph into pop stars fighting for fame and fortune in the music industry.” Players can design their own cover art, record songs, and virtually perform on stages. The point of the game is to become an international popstar. The game is free to download but features in-app purchases which range from $0.99 to $99.
The game is available to download on the App Store and Google Play. The app features a Britney-Spears look-a-like that has the voice and likeness the real life singer. There is also exclusive video messages from Spears.

The app features some of Britney Spears’s Grammy award-winning music such as: ‘Oops!... I Did It Again’ ‘Toxic,’ ‘Womanizer,’ ‘Piece of Me,’ ‘(You Drive Me) Crazy,’ ‘…Baby One More Time,’ and much more.
Glu Mobile is also known for other games such as “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood,” “Diner Dash,” “Wedding Dash,” “Kendall and Kylie” and several others. The company’s shares rose up nearly 6 percent on Thursdayafter its release of “Britney Spears: American Dream,” quickly climbed the app charts — cracking the Top 20 on the first day of its release.
Britney Spears is also planning a new album while at her Las Vegas residency. She will also be performing at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Glu Mobile shares closed at $2.48 on Thursday.
