Intact Gold Corp. (CVE:ITG) has a new member on its advisory board, Richard Allan, a mining engineer with over 35 years of experience in the field, and an expert in both underground and open pit mining.
Among the many positions Richard Allan had, he was a vice president with Endeavour Mining/Avion Gold, and has also served as a chief operating officer for Brigus Gold, a positioned in which he was responsible for all operational, development and related capital activities. In addition, Allan served as a senior director of mining for a Barrick Gold, with responsibilities for operations technical governance, project development and mining research.
The president and Chief Executive Officer of Intact Gold, Anthony Jackson, said in a statement, "Intact Gold is excited to have retained the advisory services of such an experienced and successful mining engineer as Mr. Allan. His appointment to our advisory board comes at a crucial time for Intact as it is making efforts to expand its portfolio of advanced projects for development and exploration activities Canada."
Richard Allan will have an option to acquire 250,000 common shares of Intact Gold at an exercise price off 30 cents.
