Jennifer Lawrence, the star of the Hunger Games and X-Men franchises topped Forbes magazine list of the world’s highest-paid actress for the second year in a row. The second place on the list is Melissa McCarthy.
The actress, who is 26 years old, will earn about $46 million 2016. The sum includes a large portion from the final film of the hunger Games franchise and a large upfront payment for her role in the film “Passengers”, a science fiction space adventure to be released later this year.
Forbes indicates that despite the impressive earnings of Lawrence, the sum is still far below then the heist paid male actor in Hollywood. Last year Robert Downey Jr. topped that list with an estimated $80 million.
