Gary Gene Miller, a US Congressman, was born on October 16, 1948 in Huntsville, Arkansas. As a member of the Republican Party he serves as the US representative for California’s 42nd Congressional District. He has been an elected member of the US House of Representatives since the year 1999 and has earned an impeccable record for himself. In his early age Miller involved himself with a real estate business building single family and custom homes. Till date he has kept this business running by an active development company. Miller ventured into politics in the year 1988 when he was appointed in the California Municipal Advisory Council. This proved to be a turning point in his life and further escalated him into serving as the mayor of the city in 1992.
During his tenure as the member of the US House of Representatives Miller has been the backing force behind many movements and developments in his territory. He has helped preserve the historic battlefields of the Civil War, has made way for the taxpayer protection pledge and has sponsored Antiterrorism and Illegal Immigration Control Act as well.
Currently he represents the house Financial services Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Being a member of these he has the job of looking after US’ banks, insurance world and the real estate market. Also he oversees the country’s infrastructure pertaining to highways, railroads and airports. Having been involved with his own real estate business Miller handles his job very expeditiously. Working as the liaison between his state department and the Senate Miller has been performing his constituent services very professionally. Some of these include:

- Unpaid internships are allowed in his Congressional Office to provide an excellent platform to the students to get a strong foothold on the country’s legislative process. He even has a group of high school students nominated directly to a military college.
Gary Miller as the representative of the America’s most populous state has done a lot to enhance the economic growth of the place. He has always strived hard to lessen the burden of taxes on the people and aims at providing them with excellent education and health care facilities. His tenure is marked by some huge landmarks including 24 bills that have been signed into law and a successful budget that maintained a $310 million reserve in spite of reducing the business tax rates to a minimum.
