Uber is working on entertaining its passengers. The idea came to Uber’s creative management after serving their 1 billionth passenger, there many people, spending a lot of time, in the cars of Uber’s drivers, so why not try to entertain them?
Uber is introducing – ‘Trip Experiences’ which connects riders with their favorite apps at the start of a trip when they may have some time to spare.
Trip Experiences can provide several services, for example, it includes a music playlist times for the length of the ride, or a five minute news update, as well as reviews of a restaurant to which the passenger is heading,
Some examples of what Trip Experiences could offer include a music playlist timed for the length of the ride, a five-minute news update, reviews of a restaurant you’re about to visit or a reminder to turn on the heat when you’re on your way home.
There is a little more to it than just making passengers happy of course, it is also an opportunity to for Uber to attract advertises. Uber has also stated that the feature can be turned off at any time by the user, and in turn giving the user control to not be targeted by advertises.
