Alex. Brown Realty, Inc. (ABR) and Biynah Partners announce the sale of multiple industrial properties in Wisconsin and Minnesota to Kansas-based Platform Ventures. The portfolio sale included six buildings totaling 1,256,241 sf and had a 100% occupancy rate at closing. The Minneapolis Investment Team of Colliers International brokered the transaction.
“These assets are well-located and maintained high occupancy and positive cash flow throughout our hold period,” said Jeff Josephs, Biynah’s co-founder and managing principal. “Our ability to bundle the properties for sale further improved our operating results,” added Josephs.
“The Biynah team is one of our most valued joint venture partners,” stated Tom Burton, Senior Managing Director and CIO of ABR. “Over the years our investors have benefitted from their industrial expertise, and this transaction is no exception. This sale has generated a solid return for our investors.”
ABR and Biynah Partners have invested in nine transactions since 2007.
