Amazon Announces debut of Shark Tank Store

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) is launching a site dedicated to Shark Tank Products. Amazon becomes an official retail partner with “Shark Tank” as the site displays breakout products from the show in the past and future. Entrepreneurs of the products will receive 15,000 USD in Amazon Web Services Credit.

The collection features over 70 products that received funding from the show from seasons 1 to 9. In the future, Amazon will also feature products in season 10. These products include the coffee enhancer from Third Wave Water, storage bags from Stasher, luggages from Bluesmart, and many others. These products are offered on Amazon Launchpad. Shoppers will be able to sort through and filter products based on how many sharks funded or provided backing for the product as well as those with more than USD 250,000 of funding.

“The Amazon Launchpad Program is all about empowering creators and inventors, enabling them to reach hundreds of millions of customers,” said Jim Adkins, Vice President, Amazon.

In addition to directing customers to a place where one can find “Shark Tank Products”, the launch would allow for Amazon to sort out which products are the most successful and could lead to future significant deals.
