They say there are only two certainties in life – death and taxes – and for most people, paying taxes is the worse of the two. That is why Intertops Poker is running a special Tax Day Tournament between 9 April and 15 April.
Tax Day Satellites take place daily at 9:15am Eastern Time, 1:15pm Eastern Time and 5:15pm Eastern Time with one ticket to the final guaranteed with each satellite. Buy-in is $3 plus a $0.30 fee. The Tax Day $4,000 GTD main event then takes place on 15 April at 8:00pm Eastern Time.
For players that did not manage to win a seat at the table through one of the satellites, buy-in to the Main Event is $38 plus a $3.80 fee. And what better way to beat the Tax Day blues than by playing for your share of $4,000.
If you enjoy the thrill of poker tournament play than Intertops Poker is certainly the place to be. In addition to the Tax Day Tournament, you can also take part in series of daily Progressive Bounty Tournaments with some impressive prizes up for grabs.
Sirius – $500 big bounty
Pegasus – $500 starting bounty
Arcturus – $500 big bounty
Perseus – $1,000 starting bounty
Progressive Bounty Tournaments are similar to the standard bounty format, however there is a slight twist in that your bounty is split further with a percentage paid immediately when you eliminate another player with the remaining amount added to your head making you a bigger target.
If you can progress through the tournament and into the money positions, you will then receive a share of the prize pot come the end of the game. If you win, you not only claim the top prize but also the bounties of all the players eliminated. Boom!
If that wasn’t enough table game action, Intertops Poker is also running a promotion, whereby if you deposit before 12 April, you are awarded free spins on the featured Nucleus Slot Games.
