Capella Space to Shift Entirely to Amazon Web Services

Amazon.com, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: AMZN) Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) reported that Capella Space is going “all-in” on AWS.  Capella uutilizes AWS Ground Station for its entire IT infrastructure.  WS Ground Station service makes it easy and cost-effective for customers to control satellites and download satellite data directly onto AWS using a fully managed network of ground station antennas located in AWS Regions around the world.  Capella provides its customers access to satellite data in minutes of its capture.  Direct communication with AWS Ground Station allows for Capella’s Earth observation to provide organizations with timely access to images of earth while reducing costs and complexity of managing their own ground station infrastructure.
