Chipotle Plans to Increase Wages by End of June

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) reported that it is increasing restaurant wages that will result in a USD 15 average hourly wage by the end of June.  Crew members will also be able to advance to a Restaurateur, the highest general Manager position in as little as three and a half year with an average compensation of USD 100,000.  The wage increases will be rolled out over the next few weeks and will result in hourly crew member starting wages that range from USD 11-18 per hour.  The company has also introduced a USD 200 employee referral bonus for crew members and a USD 750 referral bonus for Apprentices or General Managers.

Chipotle plans to launch a virtual career fair on Discord on May 13th from 10am to 1PM PT.
