ROCKVILLE, Md., July 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bright MLS, one of the nation’s largest multiple listing services (MLS), today announced that its Chief Strategy Officer David Charron will take on a new advisory role within the company, beginning August 1, 2018.
Charron has played an instrumental role in building Bright MLS into its current leadership position in the market. This new advisory role at Bright will allow him to continue to serve in several senior industry leadership positions, including CMLS Chair, NAR Director and MLS RoundTable Chair. He is also president of MRIS Investors, Inc.
Over the years, Charron has been a major proponent of MLS innovation and consolidation. He has been instrumental in bringing together 43 Realtor associations to consolidate nine MLSs into Bright MLS, which today serves approximately 85,000 real estate professionals and 20 million consumers across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Charron brings over 35 years of experience in the technology and real estate industries, with a commitment to challenging the status quo and leveraging new technologies. Prior to joining Bright MLS, David served as the President & CEO of MRIS, Inc.
He is the first-ever recipient of the CMLS Peter Shuttleworth MLS Executive Award of Excellence for MLS executives who have observed the highest qualities of leadership in their own organization. Charron is also a recent recipient of the 2018 Visionary Award by T3 Sixty, a leading residential real estate consulting company.
