Feinstein Law Firm Attorneys Achieve Double CM&AA® Certification

Sequim, WA (September 10, 2020) — The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors® (AM&AA) today conferred the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor® (CM&AA) designation upon two attorneys of the Sequim, Washington-based Feinstein Law Firm.

Granted by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, the CM&AA certification serves to maintain the highest recognized standards of professional excellence for middle market corporate advisory and transaction services.  The Firm’s founder Todd S.  Feinstein and Detroit-based associate Alan E. Block both earned their CM&AA last week, joining an elite group of less than 700 worldwide corporate advisors currently certified by the AM&AA. The CM&AA designation serves to distinguish individuals who have mastered a comprehensive body of essential knowledge and committed to staying abreast of continuing new developments in the finance, law, and business of mergers & acquisitions.

“Achieving this prestigious status has been immensely rewarding,” commented Feinstein, whose firm concentrates on domestic and international securities and corporate matters as well as white collar defense. “I have been lucky to advise many wonderful companies over the past decade as an attorney and counselor, and achieving CM&AA certification last month added valuable knowledge to my practice’s management of mergers, acquisitions, and other business combination transactions.”

Alan Block brought two decades of complex transaction knowledge and document expertise to Feinstein Law when he joined the firm in 2018, and he completed the CM&AA course with Mr. Feinstein last month.  “With so many of Feinstein Law’s clients in emerging, high-growth markets, I felt a need to round out my knowledge of the comprehensive M&A process in order to give our clients the kind of accurate, complete advice that they need to succeed in their expansion and acquisition goals,” said Block.  “The tough CM&AA course and exam has bought my transaction advisory knowledge and ability to the next level.”
