NVIDIA, Lenovo and Microsoft to Utilize Hybrid Cloud via Azure Stack Hub

There has been an ongoing dilemma that companies face as application performance requirements and regulatory compliance issues that at times require data to be stored locally to reduce distance and latency issues.  Usually standard private clouds offer less flexibility and or demand capacity.

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT), Lenovo and NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) have developed a hyperconverged hybrid cloud that allows Azure cloud services within an organization’s data center.  Lenovo’s ThickAgile SX, Microsoft’s Azure Stack Hub and NVIDIA’s Mellanox networking, companies/organizations may utilize a turnkey, cloud that is optimized with a highly performant and secure software-defined infrastructure.

All data is on secure servers in a customer’s data center making it much simpler to comply with governance laws of a country and implement their own policies.  By reducing the data travel time, latency is lowered and application goals may be more easily achieved while customers can cloud-burst workloads to the Microsoft Azure public cloud of desired.  Configurations and adjustment settings for virtual or physical infrastructure are ready to go right out of the box.

The Azure Stack Hub easily operates with Azure to delay a layer to enable movement of data and applications to the public cloud.  The hybrid cloud secures data and applications and offers lower latencies to access the data while providing public cloud benefits that organizations may require like reduced costs, increased infrastructure scalability and flexibility and protection from data loss.
