What to expect in the Galaxy S5?
“When we moved to S4 from S3, it’s partly true that consumers couldn’t really feel much difference between the two products from the physical perspective, so the market reaction wasn’t as big,” said Executive Vice President, Lee Young-Hee,
Samsung is reportedly set to bring the Galaxy S5 back to the drawing board. By starting from the basics, the company wants to bring something new and exciting to the market. The company was also rumored to be considering an iris-scanner technology as a security feature and sporting the first all metal construction phone.
Current speculated specification are 5.2- or 5.25-inch AMOLED display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon chipset or a 2GHz Octa-core 64-bit Exynos (Varies by region), SoC 3GB of RAM, 32GB of memory (Base) with expandable storage, 3200 mAh battery, 16-megapixel camera, and 3.2-megapixel front camera.
What else to be announced?
Samsung has also reported to be releasing a new and improved Galaxy Gear along with the Galaxy S5. The company plans to improve the Gear by making the device less bulky, better battery life, and rumored to sport a flexible curved screen.
