“StreamSets is a valuable partner that brings end-to-end data engineering capabilities to tap the full power of the Data Cloud,” said Tarik Dwiek, Head of Technology Alliances at Snowflake. “By pairing the powerful extensibility of Snowpark with StreamSets smart data pipelines, we are extending the Data Cloud to data science and machine learning use cases.”
It’s thanks to this increasingly close partnership that Christian Kleinerman, SVP of Product at Snowflake, featured StreamSets during his keynote at the Snowflake product announcement event, Snowday. The keynote “unveiled the latest advancements for Snowpark development, multi-cloud operations, and more.”
StreamSets’ upcoming public release of its new StreamSets engine for Snowpark may provide a hint as to what the keynote mention holds. The two companies are working closely as StreamSets finalizes development of the new engine, and StreamSets’ release schedule mirrors Snowflake’s Snowpark GA schedule.
“Snowflake Data Cloud continues to break new ground in democratizing data access and bringing increasing levels of sophistication to analytics and data science. We are proud that so many joint customers are using StreamSets to build the data pipelines to harness the full power of the Data Cloud,” said Judy Ko, Chief Product Officer at StreamSets.
The StreamSets engine for Snowpark is available for public beta shortly. Sign up is available by contacting email@example.com.
