United Airlines (NASDAQ: UAL) is down over 3% despite announcing its plan to provide Hawaii-bound customers from San Francisco International Airport with rapid-response coronavirus tests within the airport.

United Airlines’ tests will be conducted before security checkpoints and the results will determine whether or not the customer is allowed to fly, with airlines hoping the nasal swabs could offer them a way to work around quarantine regulations and open up more destinations to those travelling during the pandemic.

United’s shared purpose is “Connecting People. Uniting the World.” The company is focused on its commitment to customers through a series of innovations and improvements designed to help build a great experience: Every customer. Every flight. Every day.
