Macy’s, Inc. (NYSE: M) is an American department store chain founded in 1858 by Rowland Hussey Macy. It became a division of the Cincinnati-based Federated Department Stores in 1994.

Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) is the eighth-largest department store retailer in the United States and is a component of the S&P 500 Index.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is an American stock exchange located at 11 Wall Street, Lower Manhattan, New York City, New York. It is by far the world’s largest stock exchange by market capitalization of its listed companies

The NASDAQ Stock Exchange is the second-largest stock exchange in the world by market capitalization, behind only the New York Stock Exchange located in the big apple.

      Nice follow through on $BBBY. I don’t want to jinx the retailers. It’s just that chances to point out solid trading in the group have been rare.

        $BBBY strength with $SPY supporting the move. $PCG had a nice wedge pattern in the morning but stopped out on that play. $PCG looks range bound.

    $TGT upgraded to not at all disappointing. “The stock went down yesterday so we just put it on the graphic with the other retailers” said otherwise likable media people.
