Thornburg Announces New Hires on Global Distribution Team

Thornburg Investment Management (“Thornburg”) today announced
three new hires on the firm’s global distribution team.

Joseph “Joe” Feloney joined Thornburg as head of strategic
relationships; William “Bill” Loehning joined the firm in a newly
created position as head of institutional advisor channel; and David
Rentfrow joined as head of internal sales. All three roles signal
Thornburg’s continued focus on strengthening relationships with
strategic partners and expanding global distribution capabilities.

Both Mr. Feloney and Mr. Loehning report directly to William Mac
“Carter” Sims, head of global distribution. Mr. Rentfrow reports to Rob
McInerney, national sales manager.

Prior to joining Thornburg in June, Mr. Feloney was a managing director
at Jackson National Life Distributors’ Private Wealth & Trust Group and
oversaw Columbia Threadneedle Investments’ DCIO retirement efforts,
private banking, registered investment advisor, and insurance-focused
teams. In his new role as head of strategic relationships, Mr. Feloney
manages a seven-person team in charge of acquiring, retaining, and
building assets through key partner firms. The addition of Mr. Feloney
allows Leigh Moiola to seamlessly transition her strategic relationship
management duties to the global distribution team and focus on
Thornburg’s strategic marketing initiatives. Earlier this year, Ms.
Moiola was promoted to chief marketing officer at Thornburg.

Mr. Loehning joined Thornburg in March from Putnam Investments where he
worked with registered investment advisors as a senior regional
investment consultant. In his new role as head of institutional advisor
channel, Mr. Loehning oversees a new three-person team that will—for the
first time at Thornburg—provide dedicated coverage to large RIAs, bank
trust platforms, and multi-family offices.

Mr. Rentfrow joined Thornburg in June and was most recently managing
director with Crossmark Global Investments. Prior to that, he was a
divisional director and managing director at BlackRock, where he led a
team responsible for sales and service of all BlackRock products across
the U.S. In his new role as head of internal sales, Mr. Rentfrow leads
an experienced 17-person internal sales team.
