ViewRay changes in Senior Leadership

ViewRay Inc. (NASDAQ: VRAY), maker of the MRI guided radiation therapy systems, announced Tuesday that there has been a change in senior leadership positions. The Company is appointing medical device industry veterans Scott Drake as President and CEO, and Shar Martin as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. ViewRay has also appointed Drake and D. Keith Grossman to the Board of Directors.

Drake was the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Spectranetics Corporation from 2011 until 2017 and is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors at Atricure Inc. as well as Just Right Surgical LLC. Martin served as Chief Operating Officer for Spectranetics from 2014 until 2017. Grossman was the previous President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director for Thoratec Corporation until 2016.

The Company also announced the departures of Chris A. Raanes, the previous President and Chief Executive Officer, and Doug Keare, the previous Chief Operating Officer.
